Belkin has a QC problem

Although Staples took the defective product back without question, it needs to be said that a cable having three places where the outer jacket was burned through to the coax mesh should never have left Belkin's plant. A visual inspection would've easily spotted this reject. I wonder if the cable was functionally tested?

will this fit my garmin255w gps to my window vista laptop (toshiba) so that I can register my Garmin with garmin.com.. I have to have a usb and the garmin didnot come with one.. it has a 5 pin hole so I know that will fit into the garmin but I donot know if the other side will fit into my laptop.. I am guessing it will. I am not very good with computers..
