    Great for our second home where we have a tv, sound system, wireless router and modem. Usually I unplug all my equipment to conserve power while we are away. I like to leave the router and modem powered up so they operate without a hitch when I am there. With this unit I have the ability to turn off the power to items I want and keep it on to the items that need it. It is so easy with a click of the switch...which is remote so no need to be crawling under the tv stand to get to the power strip.
