Extreme Time Saver - Easy to Use

I hated to spend almost $50 for an item that I was basically, only going to use once...maybe twice but, with the time I saved and the peace of mind, it was worth it.

I wasn't aware that when the files were transferred, that it would automatically identify the type of file (like pictures, music, or documents) and place them on my new computer where they belong. (My previous experience doing this about 6 or more years ago had me spending a large amount of time moving the files back to the folders or paths where they belonged.) This was EeeZee. The on screen directions were great too.

The only drawback it would say I had was my initial attempt to confirm a connection between the computers. It didn't seem to work at first. Finally I took a chance, and although both ends looked similar to me, I flipped the connections from one computer to another, and then it finally began working.

          This device easily transferred 12.9 GB of data from my XP device to my new Windows 7 notebook with no issues at all. It was complete within 45 minutes. All files including email was transferred with no data loss and was placed on the new PC in the proper locations.

          With a lot of files to transfer to my new PC, this product did the job very well, too well in fact. Users should have all files completely in order on their old PC before transferring because everything comes over!

          Also, not being much of a technical person, it took me two trys to get the job done but once I got it figured out, the rest was easy. Both computers need to be hooked up and running though.
