No idea if it will really protect the phone in the event of a tumble. The case is thin and not "cushiony", but it was simple, unobtrusive and inexpensive compared to others.

Overall great case! I was looking for an inexpensive case that provided protection and wasn't too bulky-- found it! The bumper part of the case makes holding the iPhone very easy and it slides into my pocket without a problem. The clear back looks very cool.
