    Will this card work with and in my HP porvillion HPE model h8-1256s. I would like to before i spend money and time on this card.

      The card is not compatible with the H8-1256s. The system motherboard does not have PCI slots. It has three PCIe x1 slots, so a PCIe x1 compatible card is required.

    I have a HP pavilion HPE. Will this card work in it and will i beable to hock my sony handy cam DCR-HC52 to it.

      The DCR-HC52 uses a USB 2 cable in conjunction with Sony movie software (Download from the Sony website). The HP Pavilion HPE already has four USB 2.0 jacks, an additional USB card should not be required. However, if you have a free PCI slot in your system, the Belkin will work. If you do not have a free PCI slot, look to see if you have a free PCIe x1 slot. The newer USB cards for sale use those.

    It is stated in an earlier question that this works with Windows 7. I just installed the card and Windows 7 will not recognize it. The Setup.exe on the enclosed CD states that the OS prohibited it from running. I am not able to quickly find a driver for this on the Belkin web site. How do I get this to work? Or do I need to return it?

      This is compatible with Windows 7. Belkin's tech support suggests that you contact them at (800) 223-5546 so that they can walk you through on the set up of this with Windows 7.
