Comments about Belkin Retractable FireWire Cable (4-pin/4-pin), 2.6 ft.:

Fire-wire is the way to go when transferring video from a digital video tape camcorder to the computer. The quality blows USB transfer away. The problem with this cable was it nearly destroyed the pins in my camcorder's i-link connector when initially plugged in. Slightly out of spec I guess. I was able to repair the damage, but I would not recommend that anybody purchase this product.
