      Works fine, but wish it was USB 3.0 as my new Mac mini has USB 3.0 which is quite a bit faster. But works just fine and is easy to set up.

        I am being told by Belkin Tech Services that this unit is NOT compatible with Windows 7. ?? I didn't think USB compatibility with any Windows OS would be a problem! Every time I plug a USB Memory stick in to copy or transfer files I get the Window pop up telling me that a powered USB hub would be faster... This IS a powered USB Hub! I cannot recharge my Kindle via USB using this hub. I get a Kindle message telling me it is not charging. This hub is for a Compaq notebook with only one free USB port thus my need for a powered hub to move files faster. A non-powered hub works just fine but the pop up message is annoying. Any ideas? Thanks.

          Look for the Bus/Self switch on the back and set it to Self, so it will draw power from the adapter.
