I found the software confusing to install and make work. I ended up uninstalling the software, then plugged this adapter in, let Windows XP detect the "new hardware" and I let Windows install the drivers. Once that was done, it has worked flawlessly and it has allowed fast internet connections...

      I was in quick need of a USB Wireless adapter and I was looking for something cheap. When I found this adapter I didn't have any expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the performance for the price. It supports all current wireless encryption standards, and it fairly quick for a Wireless-G adapter. I do recommend going to Belkin's website and getting the latest drivers. (This is why I don't give Easy Install as a Pro) I also recommend skipping their wireless utility in favor of the built in windows connection manager to make it easy on whomever you ask to troubleshoot your connection if it malfunctions.
