This adapter goes great with the Belkin wireless N router. Very fast connection. Up to 500mb per second! No random disconnections like with most others. With the accompanied software. You can use "WPS connect". Which is a one touch button connection to your secure network. Just make a security password (not loging password) on your Belkin router then go to your computer in the Belkin software included with your adapter and click "WPS connect". Then go to your router and press and hold the WPS button. That's it! All done. You are now connected securely. Without the hassle of adding mac addresses and port forwarding.

Using Linsky's dual band N router, set this up to run Dell Desktop system, had a comection to the internet in no time at all. Would recommend to anyone. I had planned on installing a wireless adaptor in one of the expansion slots, this I think works better because you can relocate the antenna to get a stronger signal.

I actually had another belkin USB wireless adapter and it dropped the conection like crazy. I was hesitant on purchasing another belkin device, but i am extremely satified with this new one. I would not recommend the basic model though!!!
