use as a printer stand and storage for paper and other office supplies. would not rely on the lock to store anything too valuable. all sides of the cabinet are fairly solid including the back which is not a piece of flimsy cardboard nailed in. price & quality are OK when compared to other brands

I bought two of these storage cabinets, because the corner hutch in the Elite Collection was not tall enough to clear my old CRT monitor. I should mention that the storage cabinet and lateral file height is the same as the corner desk work surface, so you can position these pieces on either end of the corner desk and have lots of desktop area. The lateral file and storage cabinet are 19-1/2" deep front to back and the corner desk is desk is about 23-1/4" deep. A nice feature is all the pieces in this collection have levelers on them.
