This desk is large and a bit taller. It is solid. My husband and my four year son built it. I would desribe the color of the sand granite to be more of a lighter grey with speckles of darkler grey, with hints of offwhite, and a green brown throughout the surface.The charcoal finish is a blueish black color.It is nice. We love the desk.The desk is a good bargain. I would recommend it to every one.

Great desk, lots of room to spread papers around. Only one thing: do not put together this alone. If you're not the handyman type or it's just you solo, DO NOT try to put this together yourself. All told it's pretty heavy and requires at least 2 people working together. You'd be better off paying the extra money to have Staples folks put it together for you.

The desk is bigger then what it looks like in the picture. I love the desk. The instructions were very hard to understand putting together. It took a long time to do so. The top of desk is very nice to where it would not show up in discoloring. It is a very modern desk.

Really is a very nice looking piece of furniture for the money. Ample writing surface and space for placement of printers, pc's, etc..

This desk is just what I needed for my home office. It fits beautifully into a corner so my space is being used efficiently. There is LOTS of workspace, but don't buy this desk if you need drawers; there is very little storage. My husband assembled this desk by himself in an afternoon. I wouldn't want to move it once it is assembled. It is VERY heavy and quite sturdy. A great purchase at a reasonable price - I'm very satisfied with this product.

Great desk w/lots of room to write. Only problem I have with it is in the description, it says it comes with a wire management system. This is not necessarily the case. There is no where to run wires. If you have a system and you dont like to see wires hanging off the back of your desk then this one is not for you. No holes to hide wires in the top of the desk or in the cabinet where you put a desktop tower.
