The capacity is the same as your typical Rubbermaid/Sterilite totes. However, those are made for convenient stacking when they are empty. These are box-shaped which makes them much more convenient to fill. We have Christmas decorations which are fragile and, therefore, we keep them in the original boxes. These totes make storing of the individual pieces more efficient.

Use this system to organize all those odds and ends you accumulate over the years. Have used it personally for holiday decorations and for the stuff you don't really want to see, but "can't give up".It's perfect and you can pack away a lot. I also use at the office for storing corporate documents that I want to make sure will be kept safe and dry.

I had a minor problem with one of the bins and the manufacturer was wonderful.Very responsive. That means a lot.
