We bought two of these small copters just to fly around the house. They work very well after a number of first tries. My only complaint is the charging and battery life. These recharge from the double A batteries in the controller. They run for only about 15 minutes then quite quickly lose their charge.

I bought this because I thought it looked like fun. Everything went well until I started the rotors spinning. The heli falls to one side almost everytime. The worst problem is that (once airborne) it is in a constant spinning motion. No matter what you do it will not quit spinning. I read in the manual to adjust the Trim, but it appears the Trim button is not functioning, because when I hold it down as instructed nothing ever happens. It just keeps spinning. It can go up and down. That's it. Not the kind of fun I was envisioning when I purchased it. I even tried changing the rotor and both sets of blades (also recommended in the manual). It still does the same thing. I can't recommend this product.

      Cute toy, a little hard to control with controler. The self charger only lasts a few minutes. I had a discount that lowered the price to what it was really worth, about $19.

            The rc helicopter pictured above is not what they sent me. They sent me a different Brookstone helicopter. This one is garbage and I have previously tried this design and did not like it. When I saw that Staples was selling the mini silver bullet, I was thrilled. When I opened the box and saw a substitute I was not so thrilled. The customer service agent could not tell me if they even had the correct product so I returned it for a refund. BAIT and SWITCH.

                No, unfortunately there is no way to change channels on this helicopter. You can get helicopters like this with multi-channels, though.
