Comments about Brother DCP-7065DN Laser Multi-Function Copier:
After initial disappointment that it was not set up for wireless I got the right cable and it is working nicely--even with recycled paper. Way quieter than the old color laser printer I have, and just meets my needs. Have not tried the scanner yet.
Comments about Brother DCP-7065DN Laser Multi-Function Copier:
Have worked with Brother office products in the past so I was excited to add this multi-function unit to our busy office environment. However, I was VERY disappointed when it came to the frequency with which we had to replace toner cartridges. We intentionally purchased the "high yield" cartridges, which are advertised as yielding approximately 2600 pages. However, in our particular situation, this was not at all accurate! We got nowhere near 2600 pages from each cartridge. We were lucky to get 2 weeks out of each cartridge before seeing the "toner low" message. We don't print anything out of the ordinary, usually itemized statements and bills etc...nothing requiring a lot of toner. No graphics, logos etc. Yet we still went through toner "like it was going out of style", so to speak. The toner cartridges are not cheap and you definitely don't get what you pay for. Will be returning this unit and purchasing another brand. Overall, not a good fit for anything more than a home office.
This is network ready, with a built in Ethernet card and has USB 2.0 plug ins. For Wifi you just need to get a Wifi adapter.

Q:
Do I HAVE to REPLACE the "drum" as well as the Toner? because I bought a HP printer from Staples and am VERY Disappointed @ the "True Cost" of Running the machine!!! I Don't want THIS to be the Same @ Toner is reasonable BUT when you Include All that has to be replaced.... not so much :(
The drum needs to be replaced, but not every time you replace the toner. The drum should last about 12,000 pages. Compare this to the toner cartridge, which needs to be replaced after about 1200-2600 sheets, depending on the exact model you're using.

Q:
On the description here it says "Automatic duplex print/copy/scan". Does this thing scan double-sided? Or is that a typo?
