The Brother HL-4570cdwt Color Laser Printer is an inexpensive solution for offices that need a clear, reliable color laser printer but don't want to spend a fortune. This printer packs a lot into a small price; it communicates wirelessly, is capable of printing at the rate of 30 pages per minute, and duplexes pages automatically.

          I have a brother black and white printer. It too is noisy. The color printer is even louder when printing. Have had the color printer for a month and it has jamed 3 times. My black and white has never jamed. Not too promising, but still love Brother as a printer brand.

              According to the specs we saw online, we thought we'd be able to print at least 50 envelopes at a time. After going back & forth in the user's manual, and by trial and error, we found that we can only print 3 envelopes at a time - a huge disadvantage in an office setting. We'd like to return it and the replacement toner cartridges we purchased at the same time. This printer will not suit our needs.

                Does this model have a second tray to hold paper for a quick different paper print job so you don't have to open up and put it in the regular paper tray? The less expensive model has an extra paper feed, but I don't want to feed the paper one by one. I want to just do 5-10 sheets of another color paper every once and a while.

                  The memory of this printer is upgradable to 384 MB, however it does not appear that we stock the proper memory upgrades for this product. This printer uses a 256 MB 144 pin 16 bit DDR2 memory upgrade. We may be able to special order this product for you.                   The process of adding additional memory is simple, you open the cover of the memory and insert the DDR2 DIMM. The estimated cost of a 128 MB (yes MB not GB) DIMM is $25, depending on the vendor you purchase it from.
