Item would SEND faxes fine but would not feed the paper through properly when receiving. This began from the very first time used - Staples and Brother insisted on performing warranty work instead of replacement. FOR A NEW ITEM?? Because this is a necessity for a small business, messing around with warranty work when the product is brand new is unacceptable. Because it was new, a refund or replacement (or compromise) should have been offered - I would have taken the replacement. As a result, there will be no more Brother or Staples purchases from me. Buyer beware when purchasing such an item - validate the return vs. warranty issue no matter what you buy!

I have owned this Fax machine for approx 4 years now, I use it for home business use and this machine has never let me down, It is not Toner hungry and has great memory capacity. I have not even chaged the drum in this yet and it just keeps right on working! I have 2 people using it all day long (Heavy use) For Copies and faxing 5 STAR all the way - I just bought 2 more on sale at [$] Great Buy!

This is a great machine. We have had two so far. The only problem is when the drum is empty and you have to buy a new one, it will cost you $120.00. The one we have now is about 3 years old and we need to buy toner and a drum and it is cheaper to buy a new machine. Wonder if they all are like that? Don't know what to do.

Bought this for a medical practice when our Dell all-in-one went south. We love this product. With our Dell we couldn't do much, but this has so many nice features: holds a lot of paper for more infrequent refills, doesn't seem to use too much ink, never jams, is relatively quiet, saves fax numbers for easy dialing, and much more...

The fax machine is in a common location in the office where multiple users have access, we have no complaints other than the paper tray doesn't hold the volume of paper we would like it too due to our high volume of use.

I needed to fax some documents to my attorney,went to [@] they wanted over [$]. So we bought this instead, after rebates the price was very close to the same plus I now have the unit and every time I need to fax or copy somthing I'm saving money.
