This machine would probably be good for a home business; but it is not worth buying for home photos and crafting. This machine was touted to be 90% as good as regular photo printer- NOT! It was difficult to acclimate it to my computer - took over two weeks to get it to work properly. The photo quality is Ok; but not as good as a regular printer...It is difficult to make homemade cards due to the setup of the paper feed. It has 2 feeder trays; but the bottom one is setup basically for faxes...which I was not interested in...but was led to believe it would work well with photo printing multiple sizes...Basically - I DON'T like it. If I could trade it in for a different photo printer or get my money back for the printer & service contract I got with it - I Would!

A lot of people have been unfair to this product. They say that it is large, slow, expensive and that its print quality is not as good as other printers. But, they are comparing it to other All-in-ones that don't do 11x17. How can it be as compact as a machine that will only print 8.5x14? At photo or fine quality it prints a bit slower than some other printers, but for printing normal documents, it is comparable. But, the key feature for me is that it will Print Copy AND Scan 11x17. All for under $300. Plus, it comes with real High Yield Cartridges, not starter cartridges.

The thing is great for 11 x 17 scanning. The print quality is good. Is not laser quality, but this is a cheep printer. It is a very cheep 11 x 17 printer...and that is why we bought it.
We use 11 x 17 format all the time for my architectural detail drawings...and illustrations. So this is the one for that kind of work.

Black inks come out more of a dark grey unless you set it to "fine" print quality. I believe it's more of an ink quality issue then a hardware issue though. Edge to edge printing and wireless connectivity are great features to have for businesses and so far the ink cartridges are holding up pretty well.
