Decent all-in-one for the money
Generally good all-in-one. Easy to use for basic functions (ie. copying), but requires a bit of reading the documentation for more options (ie. scanning).

The construction is like most products nowadays. I just changed the toner for the first time and when I pulled out the toner assembly I was surprised at how cheaply it is made. You can snap off one of the plastic pieces inside very easily if you are not careful.
One other thing to be aware of is the power draw (like most lasers, I am told). I plugged it into my UPS unit just for the surge protection, and the laser blew the UPS out (I know, I should have checked first). At peak and start-up it draws 1040 watts and general use is approx. 450 watts. My UPS max output was approx. 750 watts, but I had other components plugged into it. I don't have it plugged into my new UPS, but into a surge protector on the same circuit. The draw on that circuit when the laser kicks in is so great it will kick my UPS onto battery power because of the drop in power on the circuit. But it's only when it first kicks in. My UPS will go back to normal once the laser has started up.
But all in all it has been a good machine. I use it for my home-based business and am not a power user, so to speak. All functions work as they should and print quality is just fine. I can't tell about toner usage yet as I haven't had it that long and haven't been tracking it. But all other lasers I have had in the past have had good usage (vs. constantly replacing inkjet cartridges) and I suspect (hope) it will be the same with this unit.
If you're looking for a good what I would deem a mid-range all-in-one, I would definitely recommend this unit. As a matter of fact I just purchased another brother laser printer almost like this one, except it is not an all-in-one (just print-copy-scan, no fax). Brother seems to make some good products and have generally good reviews.

As I was trying to say above, I really like this as a printer, copier and fax machine. It is a little noisier than my last Brother (the MFC 7820N). The only drawback is that I have not been able to figure out how to scan to pdf. It only scans to "Image" and "OCR" which is not sufficient. I just have not had the patience to call India (i.e. Customer Service) to figure out if it can scan to pdf and if so, how I get it to do that. I would pay more to buy products from any tech company that guaranteed that their tech support people would be in US, Canada or UK!
Comments about Brother® MFC-7360N Laser Multifunction Printer:
Staples does it again,Best Price anywhere else, had a lot of trouble getting the paperport scan program to install probably the default install is for 32 bit systems, had to download the driver from brother however this is not even necessary if you dont need the control center scan program, when you first turn it on microsoft updates will auto install the printer for you.
Comments about Brother® MFC-7360N Laser Multifunction Printer:
Purchased about 2 months ago to replace the Brother multi function that was 7 years old. So far it has been a great multi function, especially the printing speed.
Comments about Brother® MFC-7360N Laser Multifunction Printer:
This is best suited for personal use. Not really intended for day to day use at a workplace as the feeder tends to lose its ability to grab the paper after a while. It also gets a little squeaky when you've used it for some time. Other than that, a nice compact little unit. I like the wireless version of this even more.
The Brother MFC-7360N Laser Multifunction Printer comes standard with 32 MB of memory. The phone book has the ability to store up to 200 phone numbers.

Q:
Does this printer connect wirelessly to multiple computers?
This printer doesn't have wireless connectivity. Multiple computers can print to it over a wired (Ethernet) network, or you could connect it via USB to a computer that's connected to your wireless network and use Windows printer-sharing features to make it available to other computers that way.
