reliable fast printing, copying & scanning. excellent duplex. economical per page. never jams in scanning and copying. easy to use and set up.

much, much better than HP 8600 which always jams in scanner and is not economical to use (despite HPs claims).

It works great. It's a little noisy sitting by the desk if you're on the phone. The duplex function is a breeze... Scanning is very handle and easy to do with multiple computers. When using the wireless mode (we do since you can't do both wireless and wired), very nice for smartphone and ipad access.
Very fast. Doesn't crinkle the envelopes if using them in the manual feed which is nice but you need enough room to open the back for certain manual feed items that shouldn't be bent like envelopes.
Overall I'm hoping this last as long as our last brother multi function machine. If so we'll be very, very happy....
