I've seen the Brother MFC-8950DW other places, your model has a T on the end of it's model number (MFC-8950DWT), what's the difference?

  The difference between the Brother MFC-8950DW and the Brother MFC-8950DWT Laser All-in-One Printer is that the DWT model has Dual Paper Trays.

Q:
Whether scanning to a jump drive or computer file, is there an automatic limit to a pdf's file size? i.e. Competitor's all-in-one's limit of 50 pages per scanned file requires breaking larger files into multiple parts.

Q:
Can this MFP automatically print a mixed paper size document based on the .pdf size? If I have a .pdf that the first 3 pages are letter size and the next 2 are legal, so if I set a drawer with legal and one with letter it will automatically print from the correct drawer?

  Yes this printer can auto sense the proper paper size from the document header information. Now if you pdf header does not contain paper format information the auto-sensing will not work.
