The MFC-9125cn is ideal for home offices or small offices. It offers fast, high-quality printing and copying in color and black at up to 19ppm, color scanning and faxing. Auto Document Feeder

We have used this printer for a few weeks now, and it has been really great. The footprint is a bit large to some others, but it was no problem for us. The print is clear, accurate and the color is good. My husband has to use it to print school papers for his high school students, because of no textbooks, so he uses it a bit. Some have complained of printers being "noisy", but this one was not. Sure, you can hear it running, but I wouldn't call it "noisy". It just sounds like a printer. I would recommend this to anyone who needs an all in one printer.

I don't understand how this printer got over 3 stars and raving reviews. I was trying to find excuses to like this printer for the last 2 weeks. Getting this thing back into the box, initiating a return, researching/finding another printer, and being without a printer for a couple of days was a dreadful thought…I really tried to find reasons to keep it.

The manual feed requires major babysitting (the words "manual feed" is literal). There is no tray to hold the paper/envelope for a manual print job so you have sit there a hold the paper/envelope in the slot, feed it into the machine, and wait until the paper is fully fed into the machine. My manual feed jobs always printed with a slight slant (I tried everything, no luck, never straight). BTW, you are guaranteed a paper jam if you don't sit there and feed the paper dead-on into the manual feeding slot because the paper will "dangle" otherwise. To clear the paper jam message, you have to remove ALL of the ink drums one-by-one (there are 4) and put them back in. Huge pain!

The paper output slot is situated in an awkward way and has a small opening. I was constantly hitting my knuckles or jamming my fingertips into various parts of the printer to "dig" out my print job from the printer (ladies, if you have finger nails or just got a mani, you're going to have a bad day w-this printer).

The flat bed, it is situated in an awkward way too. I kept opening the compartment where the drums are located…it's just not intuitive and the cover to the flat bed is flimsy.

FYI: the output air vent is situated on the right side of the printer. So, if you sit on the right of the printer or if you have paperwork laying on your desk (like me) you get a free hair dryer and a confetti machine.

Finally, the printer is noisy. It sits on the left side of my desk and my phone on the right. So, talking on the phone (which I do frequently) while trying to print a job "on the down-low" is impossible. I am not able to multi-task efficiently so the printer is going back.

PROS: it prints quickly and was super easy & fast to setup.

Was tired of issues with HP ink jet 4 in 1. Finally junked the HP Laserjet and switched to this great color laser. Eady to set-up, install software, and simply use thereafter. Made the right choice after hours of comparing versus other brands and Brother models. Nice thing here is easiness of all the functionality of print, scan, fax, and copying.

Got this and saved my usb from my old printer (HP)During set up it asked if I wanted wired networking. I said yes. Loaded it up. WORKS GREAT. My wife does taxes so I loaded the driver on her two computers and she can print here anytime she wants. My USB printer cable is in a box under my desk. All I needed was my eathernet cable hooked up.
My wife has been using a Brother MFC 7340 for 5 years. This one is her back up. I expect years of good service from this one. I teach Community College so I print enough to keep the toners from drying out. I also can get all 4 toners for $77.00. Been buying hers for $29.00 for years

Nice printer, easy install. Printing is slow to warm up and not as vibrant as our previous printer which was a dell. For the cost it will work. Very affordable for an MFC printer.

Ok for general office use. Some surprises: you have to feed manual bypass one sheet at a time (cannot stack); to change scanner to produce PDF, it required drilling down in manual and then several levels in software - could not be changed on printer screen. Definitely not for printing color photos, as they were washed out. Good value for general use, for the price.
