Happy with the purchase.

Extremely easy setup on my wireless network. Software installation was simple and fast. The touch screen display is nice and navigates easily. The color prints are vivid and crisp. The machine is heavy and bulky with a large footprint compared to other multi-function printers I've had but not a great concern for me. The paper tray is a little flimsy but that's not an issue unless you plan on being rough with it. Overall, this is a good quality product with lots of useful features. Well worth the price.

I bought this model and had to replace it within 9 months of purchase, which was covered under the extended warantee (NO PROBLEM). However, when I took the hi-capacity cartridges from the old machine (which were only 20% used) the machine wouldn't accept them,so I had to buy new ones at almost $150 each. The company said there is a tag inside the machine and on the cartridges that does not allow you to transfer a partially used cartridge, and I could not reset either the cartridge or the printer, the only solution was to buy all new cartridges.

We use this printer for both business and personal use. I just upgraded from the Brother MFC 9840CDW. Both machines offered wireless connectivity, but the new Brother iPrint App allows easy printing from an iPhone or iPad...this was a big plus. This printer is faster and quieter than the 9840 ( which I also thought was a good printer BTW). The MFC-9970CDW has been in service for 3 weeks now and we are very satisfied. Prints quickly (30 ppm) and quietly. I was impressed with the scan speed improvements even at highest resolution. Staples delivered at no added cost in one day...nice. . No complaints at this point.

I love this printer! The auto-duplexing is awesome, no more having to walk to the printer to flip things. It is fast and efficient. Changing options at the computer or printer is easy. I have printed business cards, envelopes, documents, flyers, and general everyday printing and everything looks great. It handles all types of paper with ease. Being an avid HP fan in the past, it was hard to take a chance on this printer. However, I am glad I did. It is much faster than my old one and I got more features for the money that the alternative HP. It is quieter and has faster operation than my old printer as well. I love that it does not have to stop and recalibrate itself every 10-15 documents.
