Two were Brother units and one was a Canon Pixma. Saddly none of the three that I owned were pefect. The Canon was a bit too simplistic with limited...Read complete review I've owned three wireless printers. Two were Brother units and one was a Canon Pixma. Saddly none of the three that I owned were pefect. The Canon was a bit too simplistic with limited advanced controls and a bad DHCP hostname. However the Canon always worked. That's a big factor. This review isn't about Canon however. While the Brother units have full advanced contols, most that you won't even use, it also lacks a vital function. Anytime the router reboots and the printers scramble to reconnect they take the chance of getting a new IP. While the Canon had a custom port control to find the printer the Brother does not and it's truely painful to get it back online. the official way is to run a myriad of Brother software, the easy way is to go into Windows controls and change the port address. Of course I solved the issue with DHCP reservations in the router but the problem should not exist. If this review seems too technical then take that as a sign to get a different printer. Maybe an HP since Canon and Brother have both let me down. Comments about Brother� MFC-J825dw Inkjet All-in-One: I guess for the price I shouldn't complain because it's rare to get an all in one for a hundred bucks but the color quality is terrible. I use this at my business and the logo looks so different from our actual logo that I'm switching back to my old printer for color copies and photo printing. I haven't even tried to print any photos yet but given what I've seen so far I don't think I'll bother.
