I mostly use the typewriter for forms that can't be done on the computer. I usually keep it on preview mode (user types in an entire line before the machine actually types it on the page). Overall it works great and does what needs to be done, but it does have some downsides and I've had some problems. In preview mode once you've typed a single letter you can't change any of the settings--including tabs--without powering down the machine and starting over. Sometime the screen doesn't work and you have to power down. My coworker has the identical model and her's only lasted 3 years. At least twice I've had problems with the daisy wheel where I had to manually align it so the letters typed properly.

not good when have to correct. the film gets stuck with printer film and get half letters

This typewriter was an absolute horror in my office. It changed pitches on its own and it was difficult to change the correction tape. Would not buy a Brother item again and would not recommend this to anyone.
