Affordable, and does what it needs to. I use it for basic labeling, so some of the frilly borders and such don't impress me, but I won't complain about more features for the money, maybe I'll use them someday. My only complaint, and it's the same with every labelmaker of this type I've used, is wasted label material from large borders. I was hopeful that the selectable label length would remedy this, but it still has a large section of label material at the beginning of each label that I end up just cutting off. It would be nice to find a labeler that doesn't waste so much tape.

Pros and Cons of the P90

Brother makes a good product. This is an easy to use label maker with some nice features-very user-friendly, qwerty keyboard, lots of variety with types, fonts, borders, etc. It is well worth the price-but keep these things in mind...

If there is an AC adapter out there for this product, I have yet to find it. This labeler seems to be very touchy on batteries that are not at the peak of charge. Brother needs to offer an AC adapter-until they do, I recommend using rechargeable batteries.

Tape cartridges are a bit pricy, averaging around the cost of this labeler for 2 cartridges.

The label peeler was of no use to me. I was able to peel the labels by hand faster.

If it wasn't for the battery/adapter issue and the cost of tape cartridges, I would give this a 5 star rating. The product is very stylish and easy to use.

I returned the product, because I couldn't get it to print one line 1/2" lettering. I emailed the manufacturer and never received a response. I ended up using clear labels and used my computer to create the labels.
