So far, So Good!

Purchased as primarily a home printer for my kid's school projects. We got tired of the hassle with ink cartridges. The black print quality is great, and the color is very good, although probably not "photo" quality. That was OK with me since I wasn't getting photo quality from my previous printer. The wireless capability is a nice feature - you can print from multiple computers and from anywhere in the house. It was a little cumbersome to set up the wireless, however. All in all, I think for the price, it was a good buy.

I print very small images for my business, and the coloring of them from this printer just wasn't as vibrant as I would have liked. Printing is very slow. Also, when the paper comes out it is not flat, as it goes through the printer it obviously gets rolled over and so it is very curved. Kind of annoying. The price is good and it was in very good condition. I wish there was a digital cartridge level so that I could know which cartridge was running out and which to replace. It seems this way you kind of have to replace them all at the same time and that is not cost efficient at all.

I think this would be a great printer for someone who doesn't need a lot of precise printing.

I bought this becasue of the lot cost consumabless. You can pick up on [@] replacement toner for less than $75 for all four carts. The carts have removable plugs that make reload a snap.

This refurbished laser printer even came with trial ink packs. It is a good printer for everyday use. I have tried many regular, laser and photo papers of different brands, the photo prints are not so good and with much visible foot prints. I will try photo papers from its own brand.

We use this in a 2 person office to provide all our color prints and some B&W prints. This was very easy to set up and the wireless netork connection has been reliable. Prints are good quality and we use mostly for hard copy of slide presentations. Like all laser printers it does not do well with large areas of single color but overall printing is fine. The toner low warnings come on very early - look online to find ways of overcoming this to get max. usage from your cartridges.

I really like this printer, especially the price. I found it a little challenging to get it all set up and working wirelessly, but it does function properly once it is set up. My main complaint is that it is louder than I expected, and the fan runs for longer than I feel it should after the printing is done. I have had a refurbished Brother DCP 7020 for years and it does not run like that after printing. I don't know if I just got one that should have had the fan replaced, or if that is how they all are. It is not bad enough to warrant returning, but it is annoying to me. Other than that, I am pleased with this printer.
