the wireless setup is a bit confusing at first. you should install it while connect via usb or wired network. once installed, you have to setup the wireless settings (ssid, security, get mac address - if you are using mac address filter, enable wireless etc). once you get the wireless configurations setup on the printer, installation on the rest of the computers were a breeze.the printer's lights turned orange on one occasion. i figured it's refurbished so it has some glitches. i just turned it off then on and haven't had a problem since.the dual side printing is great and it's fast. you can also add additional 250 sheet trays - they run around $100-$150 at [...]overall, i'm satisfied with the purchase. 4 out of 5. would've been perfect if it wasn't refurbished - i didn't want to pay the extra $50 and the initial wireless setup was a bit out of the ordinary for me

They Do Not Last
I purchased two of these printers, one at a time and for my home, in the last 5 years. The printer was always kept in the approprate environment.

The first started having paper-feed problems just before three years. I thought it was just bad luck and went and purchased another. It has been just over two years and this printer is beginning to have paper-feed problems as well. I called Brother and was informed that I should have purchased the extended warranty.
When it does work it wrinkles envelopes if you print on them. My HP never did that. Also, the only paper you can put in the paper tray is standard weight. It will jam if you try to put card stock in the paper tray. You can manually feed cardstock, but only one sheet at a time. The wireless function is very difficult to use. I had to run a cable. The network cable connection worked with ease.
I would not recommend this printer. It is poorly constructed/manufactured. I would not recommend the Brother brand based on the poor customer service I received. Brother has been around for a long time. They could have chose to do better.
Comments about Brother® Refurbished EHL-5370DW Laser Printer:
This is very affordable, particularly purchased as a refurbished unit. The cost of the printer, which includes a drum unit and standard toner, is about the same price as replacement OEM toner & drum unit. It's probably worth it to replace the printer every time you need to replace the drum unit.

Hard to set up with iMac and Lion. Had to connect with ether net to get wifi to work. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who didn't have technical knowhow to get it to work. It also wrinkles envelopes. Tech support was not helpful. Called twice about connectivity problem. They said they would send an email with instructions but no email was received.

Q:
Does the "one year limited warranty" cover bad refurbished parts such as that encountered by ML whose refurbished printer "after 20 pages of printing clearly, it started repeating the top of the page three more times." Which is clearly a drum problem -- or does the warranty disclaim any of the 'consumable' parts (toner cartridge and drum), leaving him with an expensive paperweight?
You will have to make use of the upper input tray but you can get card stock through the printer. Based on experience I would run one sheet at a time, the separation pads seem to have some issues if the stock is glossy.

Q:
what kind of warranty comes with the refurbished products other than the optional warranties that you can purchase? will there be a 1 year manufacturers warranty included?
