Great toner cartridge

I've never had any trouble with this Brother cartridge. I use my Brother laser printer frequently from my home office and have found the toner life to be pretty good. That depends on how frequently you print obviously. I print lots of pages on a daily basis and the shelf life is better than other cartridges I've used before. Quality printing, very easy to replace and no mess involved.

This is the 'starter' (yeah I know technically not labeled as such to get around the laws) cartridge! Get the full sized 580. This 550 has one special gear in its mechinism that will shut itself down, permanently. The 580 has a 'full' to empty gear. (low toner, empty)

It does not seem to last long, for us anyway. We get no warning with our printer when its close to running out.

Have always had a Brothers MFC and found it to be the most dependable copier for a small business. I wish that the toners were not so expensive but at least you get a rebate when you take it in for recycling.
