I use these to make clear, readable labels for orchid plants. I have used this tape for a few years now. It does not fade with time or exposure to sun. I have had no problems with the labels peeling off of the tags. It is the best way to label when the numbers are relatively small (<100 plants to label).

The Brother P Touch is a great label making machine and very cheap to buy, but they get you with the tape. One role of tape is more than I paid for the label maker. If you want a colored tape or lettering, expect it to double again because they only give you a half role and it still costs more.
