          With the included PogoPlug software, your data, Videos, Pictures, Music are available from anywhere.

          Can be shared on Facebook, Twitter, or to email recipients.

          Not as straight forward as using proprietary software, but PogoPlug is very easy to use.

          Add an additional 2TB Hard Drive and set up as a mirror raid to make sure your backups are safe!

          Drive Failure and Manufacture Damage

          "Drive Crash & Unit Failure". I only had this system for 6 months. Drive #1 failed. Drive #2 was stuck inside the machine. It looked like it came from the manufacturer stuck as there was a metal sleeve piece which was bent preventing the drive from being removed. I had to have the data that day and took the unit apart to get the drive out. Buffalo offered to replace my drives but not the unit. DO NOT BUY!

          Also:
          Web system runs too slow to use.
          Difficult to set up.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          Hardware was great. 3rd party software that came with was missing a key feature - the ability to back-up files in their original format. I have disabled that software and went back to using VersaPro 2 for my back-up needs.
