I was glad I own a ratchet for this one yet the durability is great. It took some time putting it together but well worth it. I must have about 20 - 25 pounds of books on the shelf and there is no warping of any kind. Well spent money.

The great thing about this product is ... it didn't have that pressed board smell. A good thing was that it was able to be assembled by a novice at assembling pre-fab furniture, with only minimal supervision.BUT,There wasn't time to deal with problems and here's what they are:It arrived PRE-DENTED, AND IN OTHER SPOTS, BUBBLED UP UNDER THE "VENEER". THE SKIRT BOARD WAS MILLED TOO SHORT SO A GAP REMAINED.THE SOFT METAL OF THE CAMS SHEARED RATHER THAN TIGHTENED CREATING SHARP METAL SPIKES.PRE-DENTED ... AGAIN... [...]TINY SHELF SUPPORTS FOR A VERY ROBUST CENTER SHELF. These look like a recipe for failure and new shelf supports will probably be needed before too long.For a servicable set of wood appearing shelves, when nobody is going to look closely, and things are just going to sit undisturbed, I'd recommend this BUSH unit.If you intend for it to be an appreciated part of a good looking area, and anyone with a critical eye will see it, you should probably buy something else
