Photo in catalogue shows a pale color of wood grain. The reality is that the bookshelf is much darker than shown. Was disappointed as it doesn't match other light furniture in my office.

Easy to follow directions although don't put the metal holders for adjustable shelves in until your done putting unit together contrary to what they tell you. Impressive thick particle board used for the unit. Laminate is realistic wood looking. Helpful to have power screw driver to install backboard-50 screws! Great looking unit and would recommend it as an alternative to more expensive all wood bookcase. Packaging was terrific...everything well marked and parts put in separate bags clearly labeled.

I put a lot of pieces of furniture together, but this one fell apart before finished. The bolts ripped out of the wood and created holes.

I returned to the store. Never even got to use it.

I purchased these shelves to store fabric in my sewing room, and supplies for all my other crafts and hobbies. My only regret is that I do not have room for more of them.

This bookcase was very easy to put together, and looks great.

Most build-your-own bookcases I looked at were thin and sharp-edged, very cheap looking. This bookcase has thicker shelves which are rounded and are very sturdy.

We purchased this for our training manuals and supplies(very heavy). It is perfect. It looks great and is very reasonably priced. The adjustables shelves are very thick, durable and have a nice rounded edge.
