    I use this return (or extension) to give me extra desk space and for my printer. It works perfectly. If I wanted to use the entire surface as a desk, that would be easy enough. For now, though, I put my printer on it and store my shredder, a tall recycling can, and a some stackable shelves underneath it so they are within easy reach while I sit at the main part of the desk (I use the corner desk with a file cabinet and the large hutch). This whole system works perfectly in my small space, allowing me to have everything I use regularly within easy reach, yet keeping me organized & (relatively) uncluttered.
