Pedestal Desk

Desk looks nice once assembled. Front of desk is three separate panels which makes it unstable when moving it during assembly. Also, legs of desk are plastic instead of metal.

great desk, took about 2.5-3 hours to assemble by myself but my drill died about halfway through. Overall great desk, and makes your office look expensive without the high price tag

This desk was delivered to my house and taken back to staples the same night! My daughter and I put it together and went to flip the desk over to put the top part on as instructed on page 11 of the directions and the center piece fell apart! This desk is not worth the money you pay. Looks nice but looks can be deceiving!

A tough nut to crack

We bought a L shaped desk from this line as well as the hutch and 3 bookcases. All have proven ok to assemble (not difficult but time consuming) and all have proven a good value. No complaints. But this latest desk has been a headache. Tough to assemble (screws not long enough in one case and difficult to power screw in. A key assembly part was broken and we now have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for a replacement part to be sent to us.
Quality control failed in this case and perhaps it's more common than not. Perhaps our previous experience was an exception.
