Beautiful Desk

great desk, took about 2.5-3 hours to assemble by myself but my drill died about halfway through. Overall great desk, and makes your office look expensive without the high price tag

Pedestal Desk

Desk looks nice once assembled. Front of desk is three separate panels which makes it unstable when moving it during assembly. Also, legs of desk are plastic instead of metal.

This is a typical pressed wood desk, but for the money, it suited my purpose. It looks nice when all together. I put it together myself in 3 hours. Yes, I am a woman, but I teach Algebra, so I like problem solving. Hint: Count and layout all pieces first (everything was there). The hardest part is making sure you have right drawer glides in the right place. I lay the boards down EXACTLY as it is shown in the diagram paying close attention to the location of the wheels on the glides and had no problem. (But if you're not methodical, you may get confused.) A power screwdriver makes the job easier and it is the only tool you will need. The 4 plastic pieces slide onto the file drawers before you put it in the desk for the hanging folders.

I like the way the filing drawers are setup, one on each side, it keeps the weight more even. The color is very nice. The only part of the desk that would be nice to change is the directions which are only pictures, it made it a little difficult to assemble.
