When I first recieved the product I had to have the staples guy and myself unload the desk/hutch/File Cabinet into my house. I had one other person help me set it up and it took a total of 8 hours to set-up everyone. I highly recommend having a small power drill or screwdriver. Without it you hands might be hurting the next day. The desk came together very well. The direction are easy to understand and I enjoyed putting it together. You will need help!

This desk is attractive to look at now that it is assembled. This is not for a beginner to tackle on his/her own. Over the years, I have assembled furniture from Crate & Barrel and IKEA. This is far more challenging. This desk has dozens and dozens of parts and pieces and is quite difficult. I had to stop a number of times as it frustrated me so. Twice the heads of screws broke off. The instructions are all just pictures. No written text. Analyze the pictures very carefully before each step. There are many times that two people are required to put sections together. Plan to spend 3-5 hours.

I just graduated to this desk from a desk that was way too small, it's got ample space, looks great and I love the room I now have with it. Building it took a bit of time, but the directions were very thorough and they gave you extra parts just in case.
We bought this desk over a year ago for our home office. It is a very well put together desk. It did take a long time to put together, but it looks great when it's done. Door hinges and drawer sliders are great. I would like to buy the hutch for more storage space. It doesn't have enough without it. Other than that the CPU cabinet does not have enough ventilation, so we have to keep the door open so that our computer doesn't overheat.
Only problem is that when attaching the hutch, screw holes didn't quite match up causing the wood to split. (I've hidden the flaw behind a tissue box) Otherwise - great.
This is a great looking desk. Beautiful color and looks very expensive when built. It took about 3 hours to assemble and one drawer does not slide properly. The screws where not labeled so that was a guessing game. Once built, however, it looks great! Overall very happy with the purchase.
