Canon has very good products. This is the second Canon all in one I have bought. The major downfall is the expense of the cartridges. They do last a long time if you are a mild user. I print flyers, documents daily and it does very well.

Canon cartridge prints about 50% more than
HP cartridge for identical print engine,
and costs twice as much. ('Starter cartridge'
as typical, was a cheat: 750 copies and done.)

Printer does an adequate job, although drivers
are very funky compared to HP. But I may never
buy another Canon printer (or recommend one
to my clients) because of the crazy toner prices.

I had a Xerox machine before, but really am liking my Canon. It is pretty fast and the orignal toner that came with the machine lasted a really long time and I use this machine everyday! It is extremly easy to change the toner and not very messy. The only part I do not like is the pull strip that you have to remove to expose the toner. If you are not careful can get on your clothes as you pull it out. Other than that is is a great machine. The color printing is also very good as is the scanning, but not sure it is as sharp as my old machine.

It is excellent quality but a bit pricey. They are very reliable and produce very good prints. I do a lot of flyers and newsletters and need sharp colors and crisp lines which this printer and these cartridges provide.

Only toner that will work for my printer. At first I thought it was a bit pricey; however, there is a long life in a very busy office. Excellent quality.
