Convenient Features for Easy Scanning up to 4800dpi.

How easy is this? Just select what you want to do with your original-scan, copy, or create email attachments or PDFs-and the entire process is automated. The new Auto ScanMode detects your type of original, then scans and saves it with the optimal settings. Your results will be outstanding, with color dpi resolution up to 4800 x 4800, and you can also create fabulous 19200 x 19200 software-enhanced interpolated scans. Plus, a letter-sized color scan takes only about 14 seconds2. The Advanced Z-Lid lets you produce clear, complete scans of thick originals such as notebooks. And to reduce "cable clutter," one simple cable provides power and a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed connection.

I use this scanner everyday and alot. It always works is pretty fast 12 secs a scan. The documents I scan come out great. Every detail is captured. Even small handwritting is scanned and captured onto the computer very well. Then you can zoom in on every scanned photo as well to get better views. I can't complain at all about this scanner. If I had to pick something wrong it doesn't scan legal size documents. Overall great buy!

I wanted a small, light, scanner. This is perfect. It also stores upright, freeing up desk space - another plus. Also no power cord, just one USB. So far the scans I have done are great, no complaints.

Only negative is that it is hard to scan surfaces of really large, bulky items as the scanner lid articulates up, but does not come off (as far as I can tell).
