I have owned 1 other canon (EOS 630) and have only just recently had to put it in the shop. Since owning it for over 20 years, I naturally wanted another Canon. I did however, check out the competition and I was very disappointed in the reviews and comment made. I love this camera as much as my old film one. It is a wonderful piece of equipment, easy to use, light weight, quiet. Can't really say enough about it. I am in awe with all the fantastic things it can do, making my shots much easier to obtain. This a true work of art. Even my 6yr old son is able to use this without a problem.
There is alot of reading and information about it, (I am only about 1/2 way thru all the reading) but it is a good thing.
I would buy this over and over again. Thanks Canon, you did it again.
