    Hi there, We bought this camera for several reasons. We have a Canon 35mm SLR with a host of lenses and flash attachment. We didn't want to have to buy the lenses all over again, so we wanted a Digital body that would fit our existing collection. Also, we wanted a camera that would do video. This camera was the perfect one for us, and at a reasonable price too!

    This camera does everything we could want and then some. It works perfectly with all of our existing lenses just like we had hoped.

    We tested this unit extensively over the last week and found that it worked perfectly inside, outside, in light and dark situations just like perfectly.

    If you are looking for a digital SLR, this is the unit for you!

    nice pictures but when i was ready use the soft ware that came with it it only some of the pictures went right into it to be edited the rest went to my pictures not sure how to get other pics into the soft ware part of the camera on the computer. little more work than expected. i like simple. will learn I hope to use the software but right now I do not have the patients to do it.

    There are certainly a lot of ways to take pictures with the Canon EOS Rebel T3 Digital SLR Camera. The pictures come out fantastic almost all the time and when they don't it is because of my moving about or my not watching which setting to put it on. I want to take pictures all the time with this camera and enjoy showing the pictures to my friends. Comments from my friends has been great as to picture quality. I am more than satisfied with this product and would certanly be willing to let others know of the great quality of pictures that it takes.

        good camera. My lens for my old 35m eos camera also fit. Still playing around with all the settings and has made me want to get back into photography again. A big difference between this and the point and shoot cameras. Price was good just wish it had come with the memory card and maybe some extra's like are offered at other stores. I also like the access to the photography tips and lessons included on the Canon website. Would recommend this to anyone looking to move up from a point and shoot digital camera.

                Camera is easy to set up and begin operating. We added some close up macro lenses and they work great for my ebay items. Close up pictures come out really clear now....no more fuzzy photos! Now we are looking for an adapter to use to add a zoom lens for long distance shots. For an SLR camera in the low end price range you get a lot of camera for the price! I have always had digital quick shot type cameras so this is quite a step up for me and I am quite pleased with the results! My only complaint is that it is a bit on the bulky side and the straps tend to get in my way when it's around my neck...small complaint!
