The camera is to difficult to understand how to use and picture quality not up to par per the price. Editing pictures after they are taken is nonexistent.

This camera does beautiful videos without the grainy look my 5 Meg-pix video camera has.

Still shots are very professional looking.

Coming from a life of point and shoots, this is an absolutely stunning camera. The auto feature is nice, but the ability to tweak every setting, from aperture to exposure, is spectacular. Pictures from a DSLR camera are more vibrant, detailed, and just gorgeous. While I would recommend doing research yourself, and actually figure out the differences between different cameras, this is still a great buy. The 720p video looks great, and you can use manual focus on the video to make some cool effects. I like the fact that you can bracket with this camera(look it up), which also adds up to really cool things you can do as well.

This is the best digital camera i have ever had and I`ve had many. It is so fast to capture pictures. I like to make movies out of pics and this gets all the moves in. Great movies also so I can make awesome home movies. The pics for printing for the walls are super clear and crisp

Improved from their ealier entry level DSLR's, it has a bigger LCD screen, higher ISO settings and the newer 18-55is lens is much improved over the one my XT came with.
Takes great shots and is easy to use for beginners but can be adjusted to do just about anything for more advanced users.
If you want a good camera to start out with or are upgrading from a XT or earlier this is much better, otherwise the T3i or higher has a lot more features and resolution for a bit more money.
