        I do a lot of video editing, photography, and design work.. this camera has exceptional quality.. I love the articulating screen and the versatility it gives to allow you to capture shots easily from any angle and see how your composition looks. for the most part, it is very similar to the T2i.. but if you are like me and love to capture unique angles, the articulating screen makes a huge difference.. I would definitely recommend this camera.

              When purchased, the Lens Cap was found forced on to the lens and could not be removed by myself. I took it back to Staples and the technician had to pry it off. The Canon telephone representative could not give a reason for this problem. The camera seems ok but I'm worried about it's reliability because it may have been dropped. The packaging when bought seemed intact. Everyone was friendly, but know I'm not sure about the camera.

                I wanted a camera that was a step above a point and shoot. I chose this after almost buying a Canon G15.. For the additional price I got a really versatile, quality camera that will fulfill my hobby/enthusiast needs. The Basic Modes make it possible to use the camera after only reading the first part of the user manual (I'm an individual who usually reads the manual). I tried the camera on Sports/Action setting and was really impressed with the shots from Sonoran Desert Live Flight of hawks and owl. Back home, I've read more, tried shots with tripod and 75-300 telephoto using aperture priority and have been impressed.

                  Takes beautiful pictures, but at times I feel like the flash is too powerful for indoor shots(may be something do with the flash output settings)
                  Otherwise its a great quality camera. I took some videos as well and the clarity is nice.
                  The lenses are expensive but would wait to get them for a little lower price.
