It is looked firmly design copier, Multifucntional by Copy, fax, print,and Scan.It is a
Little bit noisy when make a copy or scan.
But it most like OK for Home Office.
Toner Cartrige is expensive, but it is ok for less copy user only.

One of the primary reasons that we upgraded from the Imageclass 1120 was the network scan ability. Unfortunately, this feature as well as the functionality of scanning from the primiary network computer require that you enter information into the scanner/printer control panel before you can scan. This means extra steps, extra time lost productivity in scanning a document. This feature itself makes the product far less valuable than originally anticipated. Perhaps that is available on the next level up?

Nice for making quick copies. the toner is very expensive... (appx. $170 per cartridge). And I do not believe it gives "over 5,000 copies" as it claims.
Occasionally, the papers in the feeder will slide and copy crooked... this is not good if you are making multiple copies.
My 2nd biggest complaint is that my old copier told me when I ran out of ink, this one will copy forever without ink. once again, if you are in the middle of multiple copies, you waste a lot of paper. I would recommend that a 'friend' look into purchasing a different copier.... but this was on sale. I believe it is comparable to a small desk-top computer printer....not economical for multiple copies.

Great MFP with legal size glass platen. That is right! LEGAL size GLASS PLATEN! A big deal to me since majority of black and white and color MFP today only have letter size glass platen. If you want to use the copier for a legal sized original, you have to use the document feeder. This MFP eliminates that inconvinience since document feeders can sometimes ruin the original document. So be careful if you are going to use any MFPs document feeder with a sensitive or important original document.

The print out is crisp black. The scanning unit and scan quality for documents is what I had expected from Canon color scanners.

Network setup is easy regardless of DHCP or static IP address is used. When the MFP is configured to use DHCP IP address, the driver installed on the computer automatically updates the one entered on the printer settings. So far, the other printers and MFPs I have used does not do the same if configured with DHCP IP address.

Recommended for people who have no to little background on computers, network, and print and imaging devices. The bundled software is user friendly.
