I prefer spending a little more and purchasing the Canon toner vs. the Staples version as I feel the yield tends to be higher. I have also had issues before with the Staples version only to have to return it as it was much messier. The Staples versions are refurbished cartridges. They are about $20 less but not worth the difference in quality. The ink appears darker as well with the Canon cartridge vs. Staples.

My only complaint about this cartridge is the EXPENSE! The cost is ridiculously high! And the 5,000 copies is not quite true. I've gotten well over 4,000 copies consistently, but never 5,000! I would recommend this to a friend, but conditionally.

I use the Canon copier to do lessons for two church classes and for person copying. I don't use it on the regular setting. I use the toner on the lowest setting I can and still get great quality printing. We have tried refilled and generic toners but we went back to the Canon toner. It's the best!
