I am a student...with that said, I have a fair amount of printing to do. However, the price of the cartridges is ridiculous, especially when you consider how many copies you ACTUALLY do get for the money! To make the situation worse...after dishing out almost twice the amount of money, I soon found out that the High Yield cartridges are a joke...! You are better off with the basics, even still... it certainly is not a good deal. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT PRINTING PHOTOS...(MUCH cheaper to have them printed elsewhere!!! ...plus the quality is poor)

Terribly short life for such an expensive cartridge. I just bought a replacement printer because my MX310 used so much ink. My previous Canon printer's cartridges were 1/3 the price and lasted 3-4 times longer.

The product itself is fine. The cartridge is easy to replace and lasts for quite a long time. The problem is the cost. If you have the printer that needs this ink then I would recommend purchasing the higher yielding cartridge.
