Oh love it my new canon Pixma MG5420 three in one. I love it two casetter. easy print and two automatic 2 side or one side print. Without jams. seen good smoothing. I have it no problem with this. I was former use Canon MX 870. I feel not need use fax. I'm use this for four year. I was decide buy new print and notice. follow my heart that PIXMA MG5420. plus more room space in my L-desk. Make me smiley now. I'm use so sine for four day. I was settle light put -10 for glossyII 4x6 color inks as save money!!! bottom cassetts plain paper 8.5x11 plain paper. automatic color. I was test print look like good beautiful letter.

This printer is advertised as working with Mac operating systems.. it does not.

Canon stopped making drivers that are compatible with the power pc platform.

I purchased this printer for my students to use in the classroom. We have a G5 powerpc and just wasted our money and time on purchasing a product which falsely promises compatibility, but does not deliver

I've been buying Canon printers for several years. I like the separate ink tanks, and can buy aftermarket tanks cheaply. Here's hoping the tanks for this printer become available in the aftermarket.

  You can print from your laptop by setting up the printer just like you would on a desktop, provided your laptop has wireless capabilities. You can print from an iPad by downloading the Canon Easy Photo Print app. From here, you can print photos and documents from PDF mode.

  Yes, you can print with only black ink. This is not a setting on the printer, though. To print with only black ink, you must edit the printer settings, in Windows. There is an option in the control panel, under printers, where you can set the printer to use only black ink.
