I found the printer to be easy to set up and it appears to work very well. Had to speak to customer support regarding an issue with my connection not with the printer set up and they wre extremely helpful and are based in the USA which was a definite plus for me. Have found that the print quality is very good. Operation is easy. Purchased a Canon as we have several of their products and have found all of them to be more that satisfactory. I would definitely recommend Canon over other printers.

Just okay

Purchased this to print loan closing docs for a small, infrequent business in addition to personal use. For personal use it is okay, have had some minor paper jams. But for loan closing docs, it is the pits! Takes roughly an hour to an hour and half to print 260 pages! I would recommend to a friend only for personal use.

I liked my old Canon, but I guess I worked it too hard and it got tired. After reviewing other printers I found a Canon that is similiar in design and actually uses the same ink as well. It wasn't hard to decide that's what I wanted. It was easy to set up, and I'm very satisfied with it.

When our old Canon suddenly quit working the day before we had to leave on a 2 week trip, we were desperate to find another copier/printer. We needed something fast and had all the functions we needed, at a reasonable price. This one was perfect. Took it home, set it up rather quickly, and were able to print and copy everything we needed without losing too much time. We've had pretty good luck with Canon and decided to put our trust in this new one. We've been happy so far and it has provided all that we need.

Was easy to set up and print right out of box, excellent quality both letters and graphics. Not sure about the ink monitor though - it started asking for black ink to be replaced, but absolutely no degradation in black and white printing - if you went by the monitor alone I'd be concerned about the amount of ink used.

Is this a flat bed printer or do I have feed the paper through to just make a copy. Also, I do not have a wireless connection, can I connect to my computer with a USB cable.

  This particular model is a feed scanner. It does not have a flatbed scanner. It has both wireless LAN and USB 2.0 Hi-Speed connectivity, so you will be able to connect with a USB cable.
