Q: Hi I would like to purchase a canon digital camera for capture the handbag. Please advise this camera to compare to Rebel T3. Thanks Asked on 3/15/2012 by Anonymous from New york Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Well, the T3 will operate better in low light, and with a 50mm lens will be ideal for travelling in a handbag, but the SX40 is not only smaller, it has a wide zoom range as standard, is lighter, and probably a better all round travel camera, especially if weight and bulk is an issue. The T3 however will take slightly better pictures, but in most cases this won't be an issue, as the extra zoom as standard on the SX40 makes up for the shortcomings. Answered on 3/20/2012 by Community Answer from None A: The Canon SX40 has 12.1 Megapixel, the Rebel T3 has 12.2. The SX40 offers 2.4 Frames per Second, the Rebel T3 offer 3 Frames per Second. Both cameras operate on a Li-ion Rechargeable Batteries. The maximum resolution for the SX40 is up to 4,000 x 3,000 dpi, and the Rebel T3 is Up to 4272 x 2848 dpi. The SX40 video format is MOV, and the Rebel T3 is RAW and JPEG. Neither camera is Wi-Fi capable. Answered on 3/16/2012 by Darlene S from Staples
