This little Canon is an absolute wonder to work with. Copies are clean and performs with ease. However, cartridge life is half of what is stated. It does NOT yield 3,500 pages, as a matter of fact I have just ordered another cartridge today (counter at 1761), making this the third replacement since I purchased item in April 2008. Although these little machines are great, cost of these cartridges are expensive, which makes this model not so economically feasible.

This little Canon is an absolute wonder to work with. Copies are clean and performs with ease. However, cartridge life is half of what is stated. It does NOT yield 3,500 pages, as a matter of fact I have just ordered another cartridge today (counter at 1761), making this the third replacement since I purchased item in April 2008.     I bought the copier on sale and that was a good deal. But the ink replacement cartridge costs about 1/2 of the normal price of the copier! What a rip-off by Canon. They should give you the copier free, just so you'd have to buy their ink cartridges!!!

      This cartridge is so expensive for what you get. It is better that the remanufactured ones. It does says it makes up to 3500 copies however it does not-I have started logging how many copies each cartridge makes and its about 2000.
