At 100% (no reduction)this copier cuts off a strip at the bottom of documents. It is also very slow. Haven't used it long enough to comment on reliability.

I shopped around for a copy machine that only copied. These are impossible to find for home use. I decided to buy this copier/printer because of the features and price. It was replacing a Canon personal copier that cost me $699 ten years ago. The new one has more features than the old copier, copies quicker, and cost what I would have spent to repair the old one. I am very pleased with its performance as a copier. I do not use it as my printer. Love the feed tray, enlarger feature, and speed of copying.
